ELEMENTS OF PHARMACOTHERAPEUTICS FOR DIPLOMA SECOND YEAR STUDENTS

The opportunity to prepare a new book on “Pharmacotherapeutics” provided us the occasion to serve to the students of Diplomacourse in pharmacy.
We take pleasure in presenting this book to provide the students updated and collective information on various practical and clinical aspects of Pharmacotherapeutics in a simple language.
The objectives of this book are upon completion of this course the student should be able to know about:
1. Etiopathogenesis of selected common diseases and evidence-based medicine therapy
2. Importance of individualized therapeutic plans based on diagnosis
3. Basic methods for assessing the clinical outcomes of drug therapy
4. Help assessing the subjective and objective parameters of patients in commondisease conditions
5. Assist other healthcare providers to analyse drug related problems and providetherapeutic interventions
6. Participate in planning the rational medicine therapy for common diseases
7. Design and deliver discharge counselling for patients
